RECIPE: Easy Potato and Onion Dish

Ingredients

4 potatoes, sliced
1 large sweet onion, sliced
1/4 cup butter, sliced
1 tablespoon dried parsley
salt and pepper to taste
2 garlic cloves, minced (or garlic powder)
(optional) shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a 9x13 inch casserole dish, mix the potatoes, onions, butter, garlic, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
Bake covered in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until potatoes are tender. Add the cheese the last 10 minutes of cooking.
