Here are a couple great ideas for what to do with any leftover gooseberries:
(1) Compote: husk, wash and cook down on the stove with a little sugar and
water. You can put it in yogurt, toast, etc. Super easy and very delicious.
(2) Another suggestion for the compote is spooning it in
elderflower soda or cordial. The french soda is available in so many
supermarkets...quite elegant.
